Un año más que se va... un año más que viene... La vida es siempre es como una rueda de la fortuna, siempre gira y gira, es sorprendente y muchas veces nos da miedo de lo rápido que pasan las cosas y de la forma tan ruda que tenemos que decidir sobre todo lo que ella conlleva...

Hoy es el último día de este 2010... Este año estuvo lleno de muchas cosas interesantes e impactantes, cosas que a nivel mundial han causado estragos como las tormentas tropicales y las actuales temperaturas cambiantes... Pero este año también ha traído cambios a nivel personal; muchas cosas pasaron, heridas que se abrieron, otras que sanaron, éxitos alcanzados y otros que todavía están en la lista de espera... Tuve problemas, cometí errores, discutí sobre cosas que hoy considero tontas, me sentí frustrada, deseé que muchas cosas fueran diferentes, me sentí mala... además, logré muchas cosas buenas en este año, momentos inolvidables, la emoción de culminar mi carrera, mi trabajo de grado, mi graduación... el saber que ahora tengo un cartón que reconoce mis esfuerzos... este año amé, fui feliz, disfruté de momentos increíbles con mis amigos, encontré personas geniales a las que hoy considero mis amigos para siempre... Lo más especial e importante es que pese a las cosas buenas y malas que tuve, tuve un reencuentro con Dios, con su amor... recordé muchas cosas acerca de mi, de mi vida, que había olvidado...

Ahora me siento capaz de decir que el 2010 fue un año más en el que se me permitió seguir viva, seguir respirando, seguir haciendo las cosas que me gustan, vivir en familia, vivir en el amor celestial...

Espero que todos hayan tenido muchas cosas geniales este 2010 y espero que si este año fue especial, que el 2011 sea aún más genial e impresionante...

Una noche

Paulina despertó con una sonrisa en ese rostro blanco con mejías que el rocío de la mañana y la nieve que caía hacían que se pusieran rosaditas al candor del leve viento. Ella imaginaba el hermoso día que la esperaba ese día en vísperas de nochebuena. No tenía idea de lo que ese día significaría en su vida.

Mientras ella estaba de compras en el supermercado, en su mente divagaban ideas e imágenes de lo que ella suponía que sería esa noche de diciembre... Buscaba el vino, champaña, el rico pavo que ella misma prepararía para festejar con su invitado de honor...

Luego de sus mandados, se dispuso a preparar la cena y el postre con el que seduciría los estómagos de todos y cada uno de sus invitados... Arregló la mesa acorde a la ocasión; se dio un baño y se puso aquel hermoso vestido rojo que había visto un día de las frescas tardes de otoño en uno de los almacenes de la ciudad en la que trabajaba...

Era la hora de la cena y todos sus invitados acudieron puntuales a dicho encuentro con la noble y bondadosa Paulina. Todos llegaron llenos de pequeños detalles, pues sabían que ella no necesitaba de lujosos regalos sino que de hermosos detalles que hicieran a cada invitado especial e inolvidable... pero justo cuando se disponía a servir la cena, una llamada inesperada de su invitado especial la sacó de sí... Ella se puso pálida y sintió que le faltaba el aire...

La noche que ella pensaba que sería simplemente especial, se convirtió en la más grata de todas... ese ser especial se encontraba fuera de su casa con un sacerdote; el le había llegado a pedir matrimonio y a casarse esa misma noche con ella...

La cena que preparó para sus amistades, se convirtió en el banquete de bodas... Ellos llevaban saliendo juntos ya más de 2 años, en los que por cosas del destino no habían podido realizar sus sueños y justo esa noche sin planearlo entre ambos, el había ido a arreglar todo para que ese mismo día se hicieran sus sueños realidad...

Paulina guardará por siempre ese día de navidad en su memoria para siempre...
